Experimental Evaluation of Post-Earthquake Fire on Reinforced Concrete Structures—A Review

This review aims to investigate the recent advancements in performance of earthquake-damaged reinforced concrete structures subjected fire loading and damages that are induced by structural elements with damage due seismic loads. The first part paper provides a general understanding Post-Earthquake Fire (PEF) effect on structures, some statistics regarding previous earthquake casualties amounts destruction different regions world addressed. In second investigation, an in-depth experimental numerical procedures PEF analysis columns, beams, slabs, full-scale RC frames types members have been presented, giving results conclusions research structures. end is discussed concept hybrid simulation, its applications engineering problems, methodologies consider full interaction effects as well breakthroughs studying using Real-Time Hybrid Simulation.
